Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner to join our healthcare team working within Enhanced Access.
This advert is for a practitioner to work Monday - Friday 6.30pm - 8pm.
Additionality can be offered by working in Enhanced Access on a Saturday, which is between 8am - 5pm.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
This role requires a thorough understanding of public health principles, anatomy knowledge, and the ability to administer medication effectively. The General Practitioner will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating patients while ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient examinations and assessments to diagnose medical conditions.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on individual patient needs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care, including referrals to specialists when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Educate patients and their families about health management, preventive care, and lifestyle choices.
- Stay informed about advancements in medical practices and public health initiatives.
Qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited institution with valid registration to practice as a General Practitioner.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology as well as proficiency in medication administration.
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in managing patient records and treatment plans.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with medical best practices.
Pay Rates
This position will attract a salary of up to £13,000 per session.
