As a GitHub Platform Engineer, you will leverage your expertise in cloud computing, platform management, automation, and Scripting to deliver GitHub as a service to internal teams. This role emphasizes platform management rather than active development, enabling teams to focus on their core work by providing a reliable, efficient, and scalable GitHub environment.

Your Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain GitHub services with a strong focus on reliability, scalability, and security.
• Optimize the platform to enhance efficiency and reduce friction for developers.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for GitHub-related queries and issues, providing excellent support to teams.
• Create and maintain a self-service platform that empowers developers to collaborate effortlessly.
• Continuously identify and address bottlenecks in the developer experience to streamline workflows.
• Participate in on-call services to ensure consistent platform availability.

You will be part of a dynamic, self-organizing DevOps team that operates in an agile manner. The team includes:

• Platform Engineers
• A Product Owner
• A Scrum Master
