Job description
Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and visionary Global Process Owner - Demand to Pay to oversee and drive the global standardization, optimization, and execution of the Demand to Pay (D2P) process across all our entities. This is a key role where you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure process compliance, and leverage technology to achieve operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Leadership:
- Act as the global SAP MM template owner of the Demand to Pay (D2P) process.
- Drive the standardization and harmonization of SAP D2P processes across all companies and regions.
- Maximize the utilization of standard SAP functionality
- Maximize usability and automation
- Strategic Collaboration:
- Collaborate conceptually on the global S/4HANA implementation project, focusing on operational sourcing, support strategic sourcing and purchasing processes.
- Provide expert consulting to the business on process improvements.
- Manage all purchasing requirements by prioritizing the backlog within the Solution Team
- Collaborate with Divisional Procurement Steering regarding strategic priorities and the implementation of the corporate and divisional standards
- Process and IT Harmonization:
- Drive harmonization of processes and IT systems under the S/4HANA template framework.
- Ensure compliance with template specifications (especially procurement template) during future S/4HANA rollouts.
- Continuously improvement the procurement template
- Technology Enablement:
- Collaborate with IT and external providers to design and implement systems and tools that support the D2P process.
- Act as the primary stakeholder for D2P-related technology initiatives, including ERP systems and automation tools.
- Change Management:
- Lead change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption of new processes and systems.
- Provide training and support to stakeholders to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Single point of truth of procurement template to ensures optimal support of procurement processes throughout the entire lifecycle by interacting with the local process owners and procurement departments
- Partner with IT, finance, and other relevant departments to ensure process integration and effectiveness.
- Documentation and Training:
- Develop training materials and comprehensive documentation of the standard way to use the system for each process step (user guides).
- Organize and deliver international workshops and training sessions.
- Train and coach key users (train the trainer concept) on process execution and standard system usage
- Manages users in the context of work package involvement, testing, data validation, training, and go-live activities
- Performance Monitoring:
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Generate regular reports and insights for senior leadership.
Profil
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- Experience:
- Proven experience in a similar role, managing global processes in procurement, finance, or supply chain.
- Strong background in Demand to Pay processes, including technology implementation.
- Skills:
- Excellent project management and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in SAP MM and other procurement tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with global, cross-functional teams.
- Training and moderation skills
- Solid understanding of purchasing processes, KPIs, methods and best practices
- Basic understanding of process management
- Good understanding of SAP MM concepts and IT systems and data structures in general
- Language Skills: Fluency in German and English; additional languages are an advantage.

Salary Package and Benefits: The collective minimum salary agreement for this position is 3.909,12 gross (14 x per year). The actual payment depends on the particular qualification and experience.
