Global Supply Chain Planning Director - Biopharm and Steriles

18 Months Fixed Term Contract (FTC)

Are you seeking a highly visible supply chain leadership role that enables you to drive efficiency and global product delivery? If yes, this Supply Planning Director position could be an excellent opportunity.

As Supply Planning Director, you will lead end-to-end supply chain activities at a regional level within a 0-3 year horizon, ensuring product availability, optimizing inventory and costs, and maintaining business continuity through risk assessments and mitigation strategies.

This role offers you the chance to lead key initiatives that will advance your career. Responsibilities include:

  1. Leading a team of supply chain planning professionals across multiple regions, providing clear direction and developing capabilities.
  2. Ensuring an end-to-end optimized supply plan across all assets within the therapy subset over a 24-month horizon, from raw materials to point of sale.
  3. Evaluating scenarios for supply chain decisions with robust fiscal impact analysis to inform responsive decision-making.
  4. Delivering service targets, managing issues via the SCIM process.
  5. Setting global inventory policies aligned with corporate working capital targets and ensuring compliance.
  6. Driving performance management to meet service and inventory targets, analyzing root causes of deviations, and implementing corrective actions.
  7. Collaborating with site and regional leaders to improve supply chain performance impacting service, cost, and cash targets.
  8. Identifying and managing supply chain risks with mitigation plans and escalation procedures.
  9. Partnering with franchise strategy teams to transition programs into execution, including network and sourcing changes, leveraging long-range forecasts.
  10. Aligning volume and value plans with commercial teams for budgeting purposes.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in supply chain delivery
  • Leadership experience in managing planning teams
  • Experience with global supply chain processes and systems in regulated environments
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA or master's in supply chain management
  • Knowledge of import/export regulations
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
