Graduate Acoustic Consultant

Location: Brighton

Salary: £25,000-£26,000 DOE

Aztrum is currently working with one of the UK's leading Acoustic Consultancies in their search for an exceptional aspiring Acoustician to join their Brighton office. My client has experienced continual growth year on year and has a focal point to make a difference through sustainable building design.

Requirements:

1. Candidates should be educated to degree level in Acoustical Engineering, Sound Engineering, Physics or another relevant degree. Alternatively, candidates should hold a post-graduate qualification such as the IOA Diploma in Acoustics & Noise Control.
2. A full UK driving licence is essential.
3. Applicants should have a fantastic work ethic, excellent communication skills and a desire to assist in the technical development of my client's acoustics team!

Daily duties:

1. Should you join my client, you will be working closely with clients, architects, and engineers throughout project timelines.
2. You will be key in supporting the design process by attending design meetings and using various modelling software such as CadnaA and ODEON to create simulations.
3. You will also assist in the management of projects and teams and undertake some fee proposal work.
4. Undertaking site visits is a key part of the role & you will have the opportunity to complete both environmental noise surveys and architectural noise assessments.
