Job Description

JOB TITLE: Graphic Designer

Location: Hybrid

Salary: Competitive

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday

We are seeking a talented, creative, agile and commercially minded Graphic Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in visual communication, strong technical skills, and the ability to turn concepts into visually compelling designs. You will work closely with the external marketing and internal communications teams to create designs that align with our brand and engage our target audience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualise and create high-quality visuals for print media and digital media, including external marketing campaigns, case studies, documents, advertisements, information flyers, exhibition and signage, and digital assets.
  • Design engaging and on-brand graphics for a variety of platforms, including websites, bid libraries, presentations, email campaigns, social media and internal communications platforms.
  • Maintain and enhance brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all projects.
  • Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Stay updated on design trends and incorporate them into creative work.
  • Work with vendors to produce printed materials, ensuring quality and budget adherence.
  • Provide creative input during brainstorming sessions and contribute to team strategy.
  • Support the marketing team with proof reading, copy writing, and digital content management.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: At least two years of experience in graphic design or related field.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), or similar tools.
  • Proficiency in MS office, particularly Power Point and Word, with the ability to create on-brand, visually appealing templates.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, including digital and print work.
  • Knowledge of typography, colour theory, and layout principles.
  • Familiarity with UI/UX design principles is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • An agile approach to meeting work deadlines and last-minute requests.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with motion graphics and video editing software (e.g., After Effects, Premiere Pro).
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, or other web design tools.
  • Experience in photography or illustration is a bonus.
