Group Accountant

My exclusive client, with its flagship HO based in Crewe, is the UK market leader in its specialist Distribution/Logistics sector markets.

This new Group Accountant role has been created to further strengthen the Central Finance Team in line with the ongoing business expansion.

My client seeks a high potential recently qualified ACA/ACCA looking to make their 1st step out of Practice to achieve strong career progression in Industry/Commerce.

Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, key duties/responsibilities will include:

• Production of consolidated month end Management Accounts.
• Input into compilation of the year end Statutory Accounts
• Input into Group Budgeting & Forecasting
• Daily Cashflow management.
• Support to the Tax team re Tax Computations.
• Proactive input to ongoing Financial Systems improvement initiatives and financial integration of new Acquisitions.

Candidate profile:

• Newly/recently qualified ACA/ACCA.
• Technically sound with strong Systems/Excel skills.
• Confident and assured with good interpersonal skills, capable of liaising effectively at all levels across the Organisation.
• Hard-working and ambitious to "make your mark" to progress your career with this leading Organisation.
