Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a dynamic and expanding group, currently acquiring and growing complementary businesses across multiple sectors. With revenue set to rise a further 20% in 2025, they are entering an exciting phase of acquisitions and integration.

To support this growth, they are seeking a newly created Group Finance Manager to join their Eastleigh-based team. This role will be key in managing financial operations for newly acquired businesses, supporting system improvements and automation, and partnering with senior leaders to drive performance.

What will the Group Finance Manager role involve?

  • Supporting the Group Finance Director with system implementations, including finance software and Purchase to Pay (P2P) projects.
  • Ensuring all finance-related tasks, including month-end lead schedules, are completed within agreed deadlines.
  • Acting as a Finance Business Partner to managing directors and general managers across the group.
  • Preparing and distributing monthly management information reports.
  • Assisting with monthly consolidated accounts and cashflow forecasting.
  • Completing and reconciling transactions, including bank reconciliations and accounts payable.
  • Supporting the year-end audit, tax processes, and annual budgeting.
  • Managing fleet records and overseeing the group's annual insurance renewal process.
  • Maintaining relationships with the group payroll provider.
  • Providing financial analysis and consolidation of data to enhance visibility across the group.
Suitable Candidate for the Group Finance Manager Vacancy:
  • Fully or part-qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with strong technical accounting skills.
  • Experience working across multiple entities is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong Excel skills and proficiency in other Microsoft applications.
  • Previous experience with finance software such as Xero is advantageous but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to build relationships across the business.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
