Job Description

Cedar is currently partnered with a fast-paced, private equity-backed technology and infrastructure business to secure an Interim Group Reporting Manager, for a Private Equity-Backed Technology & Infrastructure Business. This is a 6-9 Month contract paying between £(Apply online only) per day.

The Role
As Group Reporting Manager, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely consolidated financial reporting across the Group. This is a broad and hands-on role, supporting month-end close activities, statutory reporting and ensuring high-quality financial outputs in a fast-evolving business environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Leading the monthly and quarterly Group consolidation and reporting process.
  2. Preparing high-quality financial reporting packs for senior leadership and stakeholders.
  3. Supporting year-end statutory accounts preparation in compliance with IFRS.
  4. Managing the external audit process and acting as a key point of contact for auditors.
  5. Reviewing subsidiary submissions and supporting the integrity of Group-level reporting.
  6. Maintaining and enhancing internal reporting controls and processes.
  7. Updating and embedding Group accounting policies in line with evolving standards.
  8. Collaborating with finance teams across the business to ensure consistency and accuracy in reporting.

Your Profile
You will ideally have:

  1. A recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  2. Strong technical accounting knowledge with proven experience in Group consolidation and reporting.
  3. Exposure to IFRS within a multi-entity, fast-paced environment.
  4. Experience in a PE-backed or acquisitive organisation is advantageous.
  5. Strong stakeholder engagement skills and a collaborative working style.
