Job Description

The Role

We are looking for guest lecturers in Business to deliver a 1.5 hour session to our students who are studying programmes in Data Science for Business, Contemporary Topics in Business Strategy, and Advanced Topics in Business Management. These courses are designed for undergraduates interested in Business Management & Strategy.

The sessions will be held on Thursday 10th July.

Key Responsibilities

  1. To design and deliver a session on a topic relating to your field, highlighting your industry experience and how you have applied relevant theories and concepts in real-world scenarios.
  2. To deliver a session that engages students in a dynamic, interactive and stimulating learning experience.
  3. Keep up to date with subject-specific and pedagogic innovations.
  4. Liaising with fellow lecturing staff and management regarding student engagement and learning.

What Are We Looking For

Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience

  1. 3+ years of experience in Data Science or International Business, Consulting, or related fields.

Skills and Attributes

  1. A passion for what you do and the energy to deliver inspiring and practical workshops and lectures.
  2. Solid presenting and training experience, with an interest in sharing your expertise in a multicultural and multilingual environment.
  3. An excellent communicator with the ability to transfer knowledge and expertise to an international audience of second language speakers.
  4. Ability to deliver dynamic sessions, involving learners in real-world tasks or other immersive approaches.

Legal Requirements

  1. Eligibility to work in the UK.
  2. Enhanced DBS Disclosure.
