Job Description

We are recruiting Guest Services Ambassador to join our Rapport team at one of our prestigious client offices in Reading. The client is one of the Big Four Accountancy firms in the world, and you will play a crucial role in delivering a 5 memorable experience to our clients, guests, visitors, and key stakeholders.

Type of contract: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: 40 per week (Monday-Friday, shift rota basis from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with flexibility to support with out of hours events as per business needs)

The Guest Services Ambassador is a "hands on" and proactive role that requires a character that actively seeks opportunities to improve efficiencies and enhance the overall business environment. The role will specialise in client experience, from the meet and greet, to reception, to meeting rooms and hospitality.

Main responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional service to clients and guests, ensuring their needs are met efficiently and professionally.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable office environment at all times, adhering to high standards.
  • Support the back-of-house team with administrative tasks, including scanning and filing requests.
  • Prepare and maintain meeting rooms, ensuring they are clean and set up according to specific requirements.
  • Serve lunch and refreshments to business members in the on-site restaurant, maintaining high levels of service.
  • Manage client arrivals at the reception area, including room bookings and ensuring smooth check-ins.
  • Be proactive in seeking opportunities to improve office efficiencies and overall business environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operation and clear communication.
  • Uphold high standards of personal presentation and conduct, representing the company in a professional manner.
  • Maintain and monitor vending and tea points to ensure availability and cleanliness.
