Head of Consolidation and Reporting

This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact within a globally influential company, shaping financial strategy and ensuring excellence in financial reporting at the highest level.

Responsibilities

1. Lead and oversee the Consolidation team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. Provide coaching and development opportunities to enhance team skills and capabilities.
2. Develop and implement group-wide directives, standards, and processes in alignment with IFRS and applicable local GAAP for reporting purposes.
3. Translate business processes into effective consolidation and reporting structures, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Drive optimization of these processes across the global network.
4. Manage the end-to-end consolidation and group reporting process for financial statements, including the development and application of corporate requirements for accurate and timely reporting.
5. Ensure the integration of internal controls into consolidation and reporting processes, adhering to corporate compliance and governance standards.
6. Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and oversee regular performance assessments to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of consolidation and reporting workflows.
7. Provide strategic leadership to drive continuous process improvements and operational excellence within the consolidation and reporting domain.
8. Navigate a dynamic international environment, engaging with a broad spectrum of internal and external stakeholders. Inspire collaboration and foster alignment to achieve shared goals in a positive and professional atmosphere.

Profile:

1. Proficiency in using consolidation tools and related software.
2. In-depth knowledge of IFRS, with familiarity in German and/or Dutch GAAP being a strong advantage.
3. Proven experience collaborating with external auditors in a global organizational context.
4. Exceptional English communication skills, both verbal and written.
5. Strong stakeholder management abilities, adept at navigating and influencing across multiple levels within an organization.
6. A proactive mindset with a passion for driving continuous improvement in consolidation and reporting processes.
7. Demonstrated finance leadership capabilities, including experience in leading through change and managing complex, global initiatives.
8. Strong global leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide teams across diverse cultural and geographic boundaries.
