The RoleThe Head of Delivery is a senior strategic leader responsible for transforming and optimising the delivery function across the business. This role ensures operational excellence, scalability, and continuous improvement in project execution, balancing efficiency with high-quality client outcomes.
With a key focus on process transformation, talent development, and commercial performance, the Head of Delivery will lead a significant review and upgrade of delivery methodologies, embedding best-in-class frameworks to drive consistency, agility, and effectiveness. They will also be responsible for mentoring and developing a high-performing delivery team, ensuring the organisation is equipped with the skills and leadership necessary for long-term success.
This role directly influences project profitability, client satisfaction, and organisational growth, working closely with senior leadership and department heads to integrate delivery excellence across all disciplines. The Head of Delivery will also play a crucial role in aligning delivery strategy with business objectives, identifying opportunities for innovation, and ensuring CTI Digital remains at the forefront of digital project execution.

What you'll be doingProcess Improvement & Talent Development
Lead the evaluation and transformation of current delivery processes, implementing new methodologies and frameworks that drive efficiency and scalability.
Identify gaps in processes, skills, and structures, developing solutions to enhance delivery performance and team capabilities.
Collaborate with the People Team to design and implement training, mentoring, and professional development programs to ensure continuous talent growth within the delivery function.
Work closely with department leads to align skills development with business objectives, ensuring that teams are equipped to meet evolving industry challenges.
Establish clear performance metrics and KPIs, enabling the continuous measurement and optimisation of delivery outcomes.
Create a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring that teams proactively adopt best practices and innovative approaches.
Delivery Leadership & Optimisation
Own and continuously evolve the central delivery framework, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and alignment with business goals.
Lead the day-to-day management of project delivery across the business, ensuring teams are set up for success.
Drive operational excellence, ensuring optimal team structures, workflows, and methodologies to maximise efficiency and effectiveness.
Continuously assess and improve delivery processes, ensuring they remain fit for purpose as the business grows.
Resource & Capacity Planning
Collaborate with Operations to oversee resource allocation across all projects, ensuring optimal utilisation and balanced workloads across teams.
Lead on updating and optimising resource management tools, ensuring real-time accuracy and alignment with current and future business needs.
Proactively collaborate with project managers and department leads to ensure resource requirements are accurate and effectively managed.
Lead future capacity planning, ensuring the organisation has the right mix of skills and expertise to meet growing demands.
Risk & Decision Making
Identify potential delivery risks and resource bottlenecks, developing proactive mitigation strategies.
Manage conflicting priorities with appropriate decision-making, ensuring business objectives and client needs are met efficiently.
Present delivery insights, capacity planning, and resource updates at internal project kick-offs and operational meetings.
This role is critical in ensuring that delivery operations are seamless, efficient, and continuously evolving to meet business and client needs. The Head of Delivery will be the driving force behind optimising workflows, elevating team capabilities, and ensuring the agency delivers outstanding work at scale.
What experience you need to be successfulProven Delivery Transformation Experience: Demonstrable experience in turning around delivery operations within a business, optimising processes, improving client outcomes, and driving sustainable growth and efficiency.
Proven Experience Developing Talent: Track record of nurturing and developing high-performing teams, with a focus on mentoring and building talent to drive both individual and organisational success.
Exceptional Multi-tasking & Adaptability: Proven ability to juggle multiple high-priority tasks effectively, while managing changing demands and priorities with ease.
Meticulous Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy and excellence in all aspects of project delivery, from strategy through execution.
Self-Motivated & Results-Driven: Demonstrates an unwavering drive to deliver high-impact results, with the ability to work independently and take initiative in dynamic environments.
Strong Communication & Leadership: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex ideas and foster collaboration across teams and stakeholders at all levels.
Stakeholder Management Expertise: Extensive experience in managing and building relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project objectives and delivering successful outcomes.
