HEAD OF DEMAND & CAMPAIGN MARKETING

This is an exciting opportunity for a bright, ambitious marketer ready to take on a key role within a high impact and fast-paced marketing team. Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer (CMCO), you will have the opportunity to form part of the Marketing & Communications senior leadership team - managing a team of Demand marketers driving growth for the business. You will be someone who is keen to develop and deliver impactful revenue focused campaign plans, is accountable for their role, is data-driven, highly collaborative by nature and works well under pressure.

You will have the ability to drive new ways of doing things, rolling your sleeves up and getting tactical with your team supporting campaign execution, while maintaining strategic oversight and driving your team toward longer term goals. You will play a valuable leadership role in further developing the global Group's established demand marketing function, in addition to embedding campaign structure and accountability into that team.

In this role you will not only be responsible for overseeing the global demand marketing strategy and campaign process, but also for hands-on management and accountability for the global marketing budget and ensuring strict budget controls and ROI are in place - reporting monthly to the CMCO and reconciling with the Finance team. You will have a strong background in B2B demand marketing and a proven track record in executing ABM and demand gen campaigns. You will also be unafraid of a challenge and have prior experience managing cross-border teams and developing direct reports to reach their full potential.

Job Specification:
  • Manage and develop a team of demand and campaign marketers across demand, campaigns and events.
  • Work closely with Marketing Operations & Transformation, Portfolio Marketing, Content and your team, lead the development and execution of a clear and repeatable campaign process - including planning and review to be utilized by the team and executed by product.
  • Be responsible for global lead generation for the Group marketing team, setting clear KPIs and pipeline goals for your team and hitting revenue targets.
  • Work closely with the Events Manager aligning the events strategy with regional and global marketing campaigns and revenue goals by region.
  • Enforce and review regular campaign reporting from cross-functional teams measuring their impact and ensuring ongoing and continual optimization of tactics - holding monthly measurement meetings.
  • Work closely with the Portfolio, Content, Demand, Digital and Comms teams to deliver integrated campaigns and a connected approach.
  • Set the Campaign KPIs for your team and work with the broader marketing functions to set their KPIs to generate growth through campaign lead gen and drive continual improvement in lead quality and conversion rate.
  • Work closely with Marketing Operations to drive reporting enhancement in line with key strategic priorities, ensuring all analytics processes and dashboards are in place to effectively report on campaign performance.
  • Work closely with the Sales data and marketing ops teams to report monthly on the marketing revenue pipeline and continually improve processes and visibility of marketing effectiveness within Salesforce.
  • Project manage campaigns holding regular campaign assessment and reporting meetings with key stakeholders and delivering a monthly report on performance to the CMCO.
  • Generate insights on engagement behaviors and identify high performing channels or assets in the campaign journey.
  • Support your team members in developing strong stakeholder relationships with regional MDs and Sales Leaders and hold them accountable for meeting their revenue targets and campaign objectives and presenting to their stakeholders monthly on marketing performance.
  • Reporting to and working closely with the CMCO and Head of Marketing Transformation, drive your Campaigns team to deliver strong CX campaigns with clear objectives, KPIs and measurable outcomes (including NPS, Satisfaction, CX touchpoint survey execution).
  • Develop a clear audience focused strategy and support the regionalization of strategic marketing plans.
  • Work closely with the Head of Marketing Transformation to support a data-driven approach to marketing for your team and clear, measurable outcomes from activities.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the relevant Apex product set and bring ideas forward to achieve the group marketing objectives.
  • Work closely with the Head of Portfolio Marketing to feed new products into regional marketing campaigns, correctly positioned to meet audience requirements and business objectives.
  • Ensuring that all regional campaigns adhere to the Group Tone of Voice.
Skills Required:
  • Proven experience in a B2B marketing role with demonstrable demand and/or campaign marketing success.
  • Strong leadership qualities, able to push your team and develop strong relationships with key senior stakeholders across the broader business to position marketing as a strategic partner.
  • Detail oriented with strong numeric skills, demonstrable experience in managing multi-million dollar marketing budgets.
  • Enjoy taking responsibility for multiple projects simultaneously and know how to keep yourself, and others around you, organized and focused on a plan.
  • Strong relationship building and negotiation skills to manage internal and external stakeholders and work at a fast pace with the rest of the marketing team.
  • A natural problem solver and the ability to be a change agent, supporting the CMCO in driving change in behaviors and processes to evolve the marketing and comms function in a hyper growth environment.
  • Experience managing a remote team of marketers with different skillsets and a keen interest in developing talent to reach their full potential - experience in managing more than 5 people is mandatory.
  • Ability to manage a remote team and remain connected through regular calls and conversations.
  • A natural aptitude for collaboration and exceptional communication skills.
  • Experience with CRM and MAP tools - Salesforce (Pardot a bonus).
  • Undergraduate degree required; Chartered Institute of Marketing qualification (or equivalent) a bonus.
