They are searching for an experienced and hands-on Lead/Senior Engineer to join their forward-thinking company as their new Head of Engineering.

What You'll Do

1. Lead and Scale the Team: Manage and grow a high-performing engineering team across multiple locations, fostering collaboration and innovation.
2. Drive Product Development: Ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software aligned with the product roadmap.
3. Optimize Processes: Implement and refine development processes to ensure efficiency and scalability.
4. Champion Technology: Advocate for and evangelize the current tech stack, while bringing creative ideas for future architectures and tools.
5. Ensure Robustness: Oversee the security, scalability, and performance of the platform to support rapid growth.
6. Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with product, design, and other stakeholders to align technical efforts with business goals.

What You'll Bring

1. Technical Expertise: Proven hands-on experience with modern cloud-based SaaS technologies, including:
   1. Java/Spring Boot (essential)
   2. AWS, Kubernetes, and Postgres
   3. React for front-end development
   4. DevOps practices using Terraform and Grafana
2. Leadership Experience: A track record of building, mentoring, and inspiring engineering teams.
3. Problem-Solving Mindset: Capable of stepping in during challenging situations and guiding the team through growth and technical complexity.
4. Communication Skills: Ability to clearly articulate technical vision and strategy to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
5. Strategic and Hands-On: Balances big-picture thinking with the ability to dive into technical details when needed.
