Job Opportunity: Head of Finance - Local Government

We're looking for an exceptional Head of Finance to lead and drive financial strategy within a dynamic organisation in London.

The Role

As the Head of Finance, you'll oversee budgets of up to £250m, lead a talented team (6-8 direct reports and up to 20 indirect), and provide expert financial advice to senior stakeholders. You'll play a critical role in delivering transformational improvements, ensuring compliance, and driving innovative solutions to complex financial challenges.

What We're Looking For

1. CCAB-qualified accountant (CIPFA preferred) with significant post-qualification experience.
2. Proven leadership skills and experience managing high-performing teams.
3. A track record of implementing financial improvements and influencing key decision-makers.
4. Expertise in financial planning, complex budgeting, and operational efficiency.
