About Us

StackOne was founded in 2023 with a bold mission: to revolutionise how SaaS companies integrate with their customers' tech stacks. Our next-gen integration platform enables SaaS companies to easily add dozens of integrations via a single universal API - all in a fast, powerful, and secure way.

With a powerhouse team of ex-Google, Microsoft, Oracle, Coinbase, and JP Morgan talent, we've raised over $4M from top-tier investors and rapidly scaled to a global team of 20+. As we continue to grow and disrupt the SaaS space, we're looking for a Head of IT to help drive our sales efforts, introduce our platform to potential customers, and book meetings with key decision-makers.

About the Role

As the IT Administrator / Head of IT, you will be at the forefront of managing and enhancing our IT infrastructure to support an ever-growing team of engineers, developers, and business functions. You will be responsible for ensuring our internal systems are highly available, secure, and scalable. You will collaborate across teams, leveraging your technical expertise to build efficient workflows, provide IT support, and ensure that internal tools and systems operate seamlessly to support business needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Infrastructure Management: Manage and maintain our internal IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cloud systems (primarily AWS, with potential for multi-cloud environments).
  • Security & Compliance: Ensure robust security measures for internal systems, manage cybersecurity, and oversee data protection protocols to comply with GDPR, SOC2, and other regulations.
  • Internal Training: Educate employees on IT best practices, software tools, cybersecurity awareness, and any relevant compliance requirements.
  • IT Support & Troubleshooting: Provide internal IT support, manage system updates, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and ensure smooth operations for remote and hybrid teams.
  • Collaboration with Engineering: Work closely with the engineering team to manage cloud resources, handle DevOps-related tasks, and optimise infrastructure for development, testing, and production environments.
  • System Automation: Create and maintain automated workflows and processes to reduce manual intervention and improve operational efficiency across the organisation.
  • Monitoring & Reporting: Implement tools for real-time monitoring, performance tracking, and alerts for all critical IT systems. Provide regular reporting to leadership regarding system health, uptime, and usage.
  • Budget Management: Oversee the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining high service standards. Identify and implement opportunities for cost-saving and resource optimisation.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external IT service providers, software vendors, and hardware suppliers. Negotiate contracts and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
About You
  • Proven Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in IT management, system administration, or similar roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership position.
  • Cloud Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, especially AWS services like Lambda, ECS, and Postgres. Familiarity with multi-cloud environments is a plus.
  • Vendor Management: Experience managing external IT vendors and contracts to ensure cost-effective solutions.
  • DevOps Integration: Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Automation: Strong experience in automating internal IT systems and workflows, reducing manual processes, and enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Backup & Disaster Recovery: Experience with disaster recovery planning and execution, ensuring business continuity in the face of critical system failures.
  • Security & Compliance: Knowledge of SOC2, GDPR, and other data protection and privacy regulations. Experience implementing security frameworks and best practices is crucial.
  • Infrastructure Tools: Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog, Sentry, and experience with automated deployment tools such as Terraform, Docker, and Jenkins.
  • Technical Skills: Solid understanding of networking, databases, and operating systems (Linux, Windows). Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) is a plus.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership, team management, and mentoring skills. Ability to collaborate with diverse teams (engineering, sales, marketing, etc.).
  • Problem Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues before they become disruptions.

Our tech stack includes:

  • Infra & Monitoring: AWS (Lambda, ECS, Postgres), Datadog, Sentry, and more.
  • Languages & Frameworks: Typescript (Node.js), NestJs, Rails.
  • Day-to-day Tools: Notion, Slack, Jira, GitHub, Google Workspace.
  • Internal IT Tools: Security, backup, monitoring, and internal communication tools.
️ Compensation, Perks & Benefits
  • Fast Growth: We are in an exciting stage of growth and are expanding rapidly.
  • Innovative Product: Be part of a platform that is revolutionising the SaaS integration space.
  • Hybrid Work Environment: Flexible working arrangements with both remote and in-office collaboration options.
  • Dynamic Team: Work alongside brilliant engineers, product managers, and a visionary leadership team.
