The Role

We are seeking an experienced Head of Sales to lead and enhance our sales function both in the UK and internationally. This role is both strategic and hands-on, responsible for shaping our sales initiatives, increasing brand awareness, and maintaining a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales approach to drive market growth.
  • Lead and manage UK and International Sales Account Managers to meet individual and team targets.
  • Motivate and support the sales team to maximise client relationships, secure new business, and retain existing customers.
  • Oversee and develop the UK Sales Manager, Solution Sales Team, and International Strategic Account Managers to improve engagement with members and customers.
  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing team to integrate sales and marketing efforts, ensuring consistent and effective cross-channel promotions, including website sales.
  • Contribute to the overall strategic leadership of the sales function and foster a high-performance sales culture.

About You

We are looking for a results-driven sales leader with a proven track record in senior sales leadership, in a B2B environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in driving sales growth, managing high-performing teams, and expanding market share in international markets across various sales channels.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies that drive business growth.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and sales best practices, with the ability to assess strengths and limitations to make informed decisions.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Extensive experience in managing a diverse client base and enhancing customer engagement.
  • Experience in leading and developing remote sales teams.
  • A track record of increasing revenue and market share with a strategic approach to business expansion.
  • Ability to interpret sales data and market trends to inform commercial decisions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel (intermediate level), with a solid understanding of Salesforce CRM and other sales management systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and negotiate effectively.
