Using a proprietary technology stack, data expertise, and deep industry knowledge, it develops innovative solutions that facilitate the seamless adoption of renewable energy and smart charging for electric vehicles (EVs).


My client plays a crucial role in integrating technology and data to connect cars, chargers, consumers, and energy providers. Since launching its charging solutions, it has expanded rapidly across multiple countries, forming strategic partnerships with leading automotive brands and energy providers.


To support this growth, the company is seeking a Head of Sales - BeNeLux to drive commercial expansion and strengthen partnerships within the automotive and energy sectors.


About the Role

The Head of Sales - BeNeLux will be responsible for leading and managing sales channels, overseeing business growth, and expanding market presence across Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg. This role requires strong leadership, strategic vision, and business development expertise to drive sales and build relationships with key industry stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a high-performing sales team, ensuring growth targets and performance goals are met.
  • Develop and execute a strategic business plan for the Benelux region, aligning with overall company objectives.
  • Build and maintain key relationships with installers, wholesalers, car retailers, e-MSPs, and energy providers.
  • Drive partner acquisition, onboarding, and engagement, turning them into long-term advocates for the company's solutions.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and support teams to align strategies and enhance regional performance.
  • Ensure operational efficiency across sales and partner functions, optimising key processes and KPIs.
  • Monitor market performance and sales data to identify areas for improvement and continuous optimisation.
  • Represent the company in industry events and discussions, advocating for EV adoption and smart charging innovation.


Who You Are

  • Leadership-driven: Proven track record of leading, managing, and motivating teams to exceed sales targets.
  • Strategic thinker: Ability to develop and execute business strategies that drive sustainable growth and operational success.
  • Industry expert: Passion for sustainability, EVs, energy markets, or smart charging technologies.
  • Bilingual: Fluency in English and Dutch is essential for effective communication across the region.
  • Strong communicator: Ability to break down complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights.
  • Results-oriented: Thrives in a fast-paced environment and is focused on achieving measurable business outcomes.


Experience & Skills

  • Significant experience in a senior sales or commercial leadership role, preferably within the energy, mobility, or cleantech sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with partners, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of scaling business operations, expanding into new markets, and leading business development initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of the Benelux market landscape, including energy and mobility industries.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and productivity tools (e.g., Slack, Jira, Odoo) is a plus.
  • Experience in managing sales pipelines, KPIs, and driving performance improvement.
