Summary
Strategic leadership role responsible for improving the value impact of Digital & Technology operations and investments. Will build and run high-impact capabilities, Centre of Excellence and initiatives to drive cost optimisation and value realisation, as well as provide the engine for E2E transparency and driver-based insights of the D&T organisation supporting strategic decision making.

To stay close to customers, our support teams are in the office three days a week as we believe that skills are developed through collaboration, and that spending time together makes us more creative and connected.

What you'll do
You'll lead and establish a new, multi-disciplinary Technology Value & Insight team accountable for transparency, insight and optimisation of our £600m+ annual spend and assuring associated value creation from our investments. Specifically:

• Lead a direct and matrixed team to enable insight, oversight and optimisation of M&S technology spend.
• As Product Owner, design and implement the strategic tooling ecosystem to enable transparency and optimisation.
• Lead and mature our Asset Management practice across all software and technology hardware.
• Identify, mobilise and deliver material cost optimisation or value creation opportunities.
• Lead the FinOps Centre of Excellence, driving transparency of our cloud-based technologies.

Who you are

• Expert commercial competence with strong understanding of technology economics.
• Excellent communication skills to engage and influence senior leadership.
• Track record of leading high performing teams that deliver high-impact outcomes.
• Collaborator with ability to engage diverse teams and customers.
• Experience leading large optimisation programmes with cross-functional teams.
