This is an excellent opportunity to join an exciting and dynamic business and lead a key strategic component of Titan's future success. You will play a key role in ensuring the various business divisions and functions can effectively take on and manage 3rd party suppliers to ensure the business delivers effectively and efficiently for its clients. As the Group grows it is important that 3rd party suppliers deliver maximum value and Titan benefits from increasing economies of scale, whilst key risks from material suppliers are controlled as part of Titan's operational resilience framework.
This role will report to the Group Operations Director as part of the Group Operation Function.
Job Responsibilities- Overall responsible for ensuring Titan has a robust 3rd party procurement and a supplier management framework to ensure new and existing suppliers deliver value effectively to Titan's standards.
- Lead a co-ordinated approach (across the Group) to procurement of key suppliers with due consideration to market analysis, RFI, proposals, presentations, selection scoring, governance papers & approval, due diligence, commercial agreements and informing/ handover to implementation projects.
- Prioritise and drive value for the Group with 3rd party suppliers by leveraging our scale to reduce ongoing license/fees and implementation costs and maximise service performance to requirements.
- Maintain a schedule of key 3rd party suppliers, in line with materiality definitions in the supplier management framework, with appropriate business and functional owners assigned and flag non-compliance with vendor management policies.
- Ensure vendors deliver in line with requirements and any legal risks are mitigated.
- Work with business / functional owners to ensure material suppliers are managed effectively, have appropriate supplier governance in place, deliver MI to enable effective appraisal of performance vs requirements and material risk and issue management.
- Ensure vendors (where relevant) are offboarded appropriately in line with the supplier management framework and contractual requirements.
- Communicate effectively across the organisation on cross functional/business 3rd party projects and manage stakeholders expectations.
- Continually identify improvements in how Titan manage key 3rd party suppliers, including by using technology.
- Produce reports and MI as appropriate to relevant Governance forums ensure effective oversight of 3rd parties.
- Support the Group Operations Director in other commercial matters as they arise.
- Proven experience as a Head of Vendor Management / Procurement within the financial services sector.
- Professional qualifications covering business / vendor management.
- Knowledge of the Wealth sector is desirable, although not essential.
- A key focus on delivering great client & business outcomes.
- Excellent organisational and leadership experience.
- Can demonstrate strong stakeholder management, negotiation and communication skills.
