Reporting to: Director Of Workforce

Location: Hybrid - (some expectation to travel to local office)

Salary: Up to £50,000

Bonus: Up to 10% bonus

What You Will Do?

As Head of Workforce Training at Newcross Healthcare, you will lead the strategic operation, delivery, and management of training across the organisation.

You will ensure that our workforce is well-equipped with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed, while also driving business performance.

Whilst a full job description can be supplied here are a few of the key responsibilities for the role:

  1. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement training strategies for healthcare professionals, including nurses, healthcare staff, and allied health professionals.
  2. Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of clinical trainers to execute training strategies and grow market share.
  3. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with educational institutions, healthcare organisations, and key internal stakeholders.
  4. Training & Development: Ensure that all colleagues receive the right training at the right time to support their professional growth and career development.
  5. Performance & Compliance: Use training analytics and metrics to evaluate effectiveness, identify improvements, and ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
  6. Technology & Innovation: Leverage AI and digital solutions to enhance efficiency, streamline processes, and optimise workforce alignment.
  7. Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for growth and implement strategies to enhance training delivery and business performance.
  8. Brand & Culture Ambassador: Champion Newcross Healthcare's values, ensuring that our workforce is developed to become brand ambassadors for our organisation.
Key Skills and Requirements

We're looking for an experienced and dynamic leader who brings:

  1. Proven experience in training development, workforce strategy, or colleague engagement in a medium/large organisation (healthcare sector experience is a plus!).
  2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage remote teams and drive high performance in a target-driven environment.
  3. Excellent project management abilities, with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering on key objectives.
  4. A digital mindset, with experience in platform-based businesses and using technology to streamline operations.
  5. Outstanding relationship-building skills to engage with stakeholders, colleagues, and external partners.
  6. A results-driven approach, with strong data analysis skills to inform decision-making and improve training outcomes.
  7. Adaptability and resilience, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  8. Passion for continuous learning, with a commitment to professional development and staying ahead of industry trends.
  9. Knowledge of recruitment, training, apprenticeship laws, and best practices in workforce development.
