HEAD, PROJECT ENGINEERING (DGV)

Primary Purpose of the Job

Act as single point of responsibility for all aspects in assigned capital projects. Effectively develop, manage, monitor and control a diverse range of multi-disciplinary capital projects executed in accordance with appropriate engineering, safety, quality, and environmental standards to achieve project objectives meeting specifications within time and cost, leading to effective completion from concept through to commissioning and handover.

Required Experience and Skills

1. Fifteen (15) years minimum relevant experience, of which ten (10) years in the oil & gas industry and a minimum of five (5) years in managing teams or a similar position.
2. Previous experience in relevant areas of project management, discipline engineering, supervision, and construction. Well experienced in management and execution of all stages of a project.
3. Demonstrate ability for conflict resolution, negotiation, mediation, claim, and dispute management including understanding of contractual rights and obligations under the contract.
4. Problem-solving skills and strong decision-making abilities.
5. Effective communication and team-building skills including presentation, report writing, and management of meetings.

Educational Qualifications

B.Sc. Degree in an Engineering discipline from a recognized University; a higher degree would be advantageous.
