About the role

As an NFU Mutual Health and Safety consultant you'll belong to a Risk Management Services team that has helped business owners reduce and manage commercial risk for over 30 years.

Health and safety is the main focus of our Risk Management Services function and we're looking for a skilled Health and Safety Consultant to actively engage in your own survey work. The team is part of the biggest Risk Management Consultancy in the UK and delivers a tailored health and safety consultancy service.

You'll work from home and travel to clients across the West Midlands as needed. You'll have full control over your diary to work with an existing customer base and generate more work through referrals. Our clients cover a wide range of industries such as commercial, agriculture, retail, estates and leisure, so every day will be different.

You'll also establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, other Health and Safety Consultants, and Industry and regulatory bodies, to ensure the effective achievement of goals and promotion of NFU Mutual Risk Management Services.

About you

You have a lot of experience as a health and safety professional, and you're looking for a new challenge at a well-established company.

You have great people skills and a history of building strong relationships with different customers. You work with a consultative style and make sure to provide the best guidance and results to customers.

You'll bring experience in health and safety consultancy and a background in producing surveys related to health and safety.

To join our team you must be:

  • Target driven and used to working towards KPIs.
  • A successful health and safety professional with consulting experience in the UK
  • Chartered IOSH qualified or working towards this.
  • UK driving licence
