Horticultural Nursery Manager

Madisons Recruitment are looking for a Horticultural Plant Nursery Manager for a highly reputable client located in Ipswich, Suffolk.

Duties include:

• Stock Control - Booking in, labelling and setting out stock within the nursery.
• Producing stock reports for potential and current clients.
• Production - Management of production of a diverse range of crops including bare root trees and shrubs.
• Maintenance - Ensuring the nursery is maintained, organized and kept in an immaculately clean condition at all times.
• Irrigation - Ensuring stock is watered appropriately and irrigation systems are maintained.
• Identification - Of pest/disease/weed issues should they arise, consulting with management and taking appropriate action to remedy.
• PA1 and PA6 spraying certificates.

Further details:

• 33 days holiday, including bank holidays.
• £30,000 - £35,000 per annum depending on experience.
• Working hours - 7:30-5pm.
