The final project designed by the late Lord Richard Rogers, The Emory is an exclusive, world-class hub of art and culture which marks the addition of a modern masterpiece to the group's global luxury estate. Situated on Knightsbridge and overlooking Hyde Park, The Emory presents 60 extraordinary suites set over 8 floors and a spectacular penthouse occupying the entire 9th floor. Food and beverage offerings range from exceptional contemporary dishes from chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten in ABC kitchens to panoramic views of London and striking decor in The Emory Rooftop Bar.
Main Duties & ResponsibilitiesAs Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the hotel and provide strategic direction. You will plan and supervise the activities of an extensive and diverse workforce to ensure the smooth and profitable running of the business.
It is important for the hotel manager to be involved in all aspects of the hotel operations. You will be just as responsible for dealing with complaints as for strategizing and preparing reports. You will be a key person of reference for colleagues, guests, as well as external vendors.
The goal is to enhance guest experience and expand our clientele by strengthening the hotel's reputation.
Entry RequirementsThe hotel manager must be able to guide the employees to work as a well-functioning team. Therefore, the ideal candidate will have previously worked in a similar role in a luxury hotel. The candidate will be a team player and an effective leader, able to set examples and foster a climate of cooperation. You will be able to demonstrate a strong grasp of the hotel's finances, its operations, and understand the London luxury hotel market to remain competitive.
