If you are looking to work in a flexible and forward-thinking organisation, are experienced in and enjoy supporting a team to provide excellent customer service, then we would be delighted to hear from you.
You'll be working in a directorate that is dedicated to empowering people from different communities and backgrounds to come together, live well and thrive, supported by our city-wide work on fairness, inclusion and engagement.
You will have a relevant professional qualification or proven experience of delivering customer service in a housing context. Your experience will have given you excellent knowledge and understanding of housing services.

You'll have an ability to communicate and build working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, an understanding of the needs of our different communities and residents, and the skills to ensure accessibility and inclusion in your work.
We have a full-time vacancy available, with some flexible working including working from home to support a positive work/live balance. We can also offer fully office-based arrangements as an option. Our diverse team is based across the city in one of our three housing offices and at our Housing Centre based in Moulsecoomb. On the days you are working in the office you will be in a spacious and welcoming working environment and whether working in the office or remotely, you will become part of our friendly and supportive management team.
In return, we can offer you a competitive salary, training and qualifications, career progression with the opportunity to become involved in bespoke projects, flexible working, a generous annual leave allowance with the opportunity to buy extra days, staff discounts, and admittance into the Local Government Pension Scheme.

Team and service working arrangements are designed to support both employee work life balance and team collaboration. These would be part of your individual working arrangements alongside any personal preference agreed with your line manager. Your contractual location will be the designated council office for your team and travel to and from your contractual location would be at your own expense.
