Job Description
Humanities Teacher job in Bristol Deliver engaging and challenging lessons in subjects such as History, Geography, and Religious Studies to Key Stage 3 and 4 students. Plan, prepare, and evaluate teaching materials and assessments to ensure they meet curriculum standards. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages critical thinking, creativity, and respect for diverse perspectives. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and interdisciplinary projects. Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities. Provide guidance and support to students, helping them achieve academic and personal success.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Humanities or a related field. Proven experience teaching Humanities subjects at the secondary school level. Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Passion for inspiring and motivating students.
