Location: Brussels, Belgium (with 3 days remote work)

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Python Developer for our client, a prestigious bank based in the center of Brussels. The ideal candidate will be an expert in Python development, with a strong background in designing, developing, and maintaining complex applications.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Develop and enhance applications that meet the evolving needs of the business
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Maintain code quality, organization, and automation

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Python Developer (minimum 5 years)
• Expertise in Python development and its frameworks such as Flask, Django, etc
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
• Experience with cloud technologies, particularly AWS
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (like JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in English knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus
