The Role
Our Functional Calibration Team ensures engines and their subsystems meet the highest standards. This is a critical role impacting engine performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities- Develop comprehensive test plans, execute development tests, and perform in-depth analysis of Engine and Aftertreatment systems.
- Fine-tune Engine and Aftertreatment calibration to meet stringent performance goals.
- Meticulously document and thoroughly evaluate test results.
- Coordinate efficient test setups and execution.
- Develop innovative new test procedures.
- Oversee procedures and processes to achieve project objectives.
- Actively contribute to improving test efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate effectively within cross-functional project teams.
Qualifications
- Experience with Hydrogen and/or liquid gas development is highly desirable! Master's degree holders with hydrogen ICE knowledge or experienced Bachelor's degree holders are encouraged to apply.
- Solid understanding of internal combustion engines, including spark-ignited and related subsystems.
- In-depth knowledge of modern control strategies and electronics.
- Strong foundation in thermodynamics and fluid dynamics.
- Proven experience with calibration work packages related to natural gas or hydrogen engines.
- Familiarity with measurement techniques for temperature, pressure, flow, and data analysis.
- Experience with spark ignition engine test setups and associated safety measures.
- A passion for complex engine systems and problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- High level of professionalism and proactive approach.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, project-oriented environment.
- Fluency in English is required; willingness to learn Dutch is a plus.
- Willingness to travel.
