This position is offered on a fixed-term basis until 31 March 2026, with the continuation of the contract depending upon the availability of funding. While efforts are always made to secure ongoing financial support, the role is dependent on external funding sources.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (IDVA) to join our team. As an IDVA, you will provide specialist support and advocacy to survivors of domestic abuse, helping them to access the right services and support they need to move forward with their lives. You will need:
- An understanding of IDVA work
- Experience of providing high quality support to vulnerable individuals and families
- Experience of working collaboratively with colleagues and services, to deliver a coordinated response to domestic abuse
- An understanding and experience of working in multi-agency settings
Leeds Women's Aid (LWA) is the largest women's charitable organisation in Leeds and provides services for victims of domestic violence and abuse, honour-based violence, forced marriage, trafficking, stalking and harassment and is the lead agency for two consortia, Leeds Domestic Violence Service and Women's Lives Leeds.
The closing date for applications is 7th April 2025.
Interviews will be held on 16th & 17th April 2025.
