Sensient Technologies is looking for an Indirect Category Manager to be based in Kings Lynn to join a team of strategic experts to drive Change Management and ensure the deployment of the Indirect Category Strategies in Europe.
In this Role, you will be reporting to the Head of Procurement EMEA and supporting the wider procurement team globally. You will help shape the future of our Indirect Procurement strategies and supplier relationships for Indirect, Services, and Capex Spends, additionally owning and managing a large portfolio budget.
Your main missions would be to ensure the deployment of the correct Category Strategies and execute all sourcing events & processes for Key categories such as Forklifts, Waste, Maintenance, External Services, and Capex as an example.
What you'll do:- Present sourcing strategies to stakeholders, develop and implement sourcing strategies and category plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Manage supplier relationships resolving issues and ensuring robust contracts and SLAs are in place.
- Champion good purchasing practices across the business, ensuring procurement's value is understood at all levels.
- Ensure compliance with industry and company policies.
- Track cost-saving initiatives monthly/quarterly/annually.
- Implement supplier reviews and visits that investigate new suppliers, maintain existing, or establish favorable long-term purchase relationships and agreements.
- Degree level of education, with Indirect Procurement Experience.
- CIPS Qualified / Equivalent or working towards at an advanced stage.
- Strong organizational, negotiation, and leadership skills with the ability to self-manage.
- Experience working through global procurement strategies and strategic sourcing.
- Well-developed interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Experience in report writing, contract management, and data generation.
