Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage all VAT-related matters for a diverse portfolio of clients, including advisory and compliance.
2. Provide expert advice on VAT issues, including cross-border transactions, supply chain structuring, and VAT planning.
3. Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients, managing VAT audits and inspections.
4. Review and prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with the latest VAT regulations and legislation.
5. Identify opportunities for VAT savings and efficiency improvements for clients.
6. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.
7. Stay up to date with changes in VAT legislation and communicate these to clients and internal teams.
8. Mentor and develop junior members of the tax team, sharing knowledge and best practices.
