Description: The role involves demonstrable expertise as a specialist architect in at least one of the following domains:

• Networking
• Security
• Server Infrastructure
• Application Architecture
• ERP Systems
• ECM Platforms
• Data Warehouse & BI

Alternatively, candidates with Enterprise Architect certification are also eligible.

Technical Skills & Knowledge

• Modelling Techniques: Experience with Archimate, Togaf, UML, Sparx EA.
• Cross-Domain Knowledge: Understanding of all architecture domains, with specialization in at least one (infrastructure, application, security, data, process).
• Project Management Experience: Knowledge of cost estimation, timing, coordination, planning, and execution.
• Business Process Understanding: Proven expertise in general business process management.

Context & Responsibilities

• Full-time assignment in the IT4IT stream.
• Key focus areas:
• Supporting ongoing research and projects.
• Designing and maintaining architectural diagrams.
• Conducting application reviews.
• Mapping architectural debt for optimization.
• Coaching and mentoring junior colleagues.

Specific Skills

• Proven experience in IT roles
• Experience in coaching fellow architects
• Knowledge and experience with Archimate and Archi
• Proven experience with TOGAF
• Relevant professional experience as an IT architect (Enterprise, infrastructure, or solution architecture) - Expert level (10 years)
• Experience as an IT architect with Azure Cloud
• Experience as an IT architect with capability mapping
• Experience as an IT architect with microservices
• Experience as an IT architect with MS Dynamics 365
• Experience working in a government environment

General Skills

• Experience as a specialist architect in a specific domain (networking, security, server infrastructure, application architecture, ERP, ECM platforms, Data Warehouse & BI) or Enterprise Architect - Expert level (8 years)
• Knowledge and experience with modelling techniques (Archimate, TOGAF, UML, Sparx EA)
• Knowledge and experience of business processes in general
• Knowledge and experience of project management facets (costs, timing, coordination, planning, estimates)
• Knowledge of all architecture domains with specialization in at least one (infrastructure, application, security, data, process)
