Earn a minimum of £31,650 a year

All qualified teachers get a starting salary of £31,650 minimum (or higher in London), so it pays to do what you love. And with lots of opportunities to progress, you could earn over £43k after 5 years.

Applications for the Initial Teacher Training (ITT) Programme remain open until September 2025. This closing date extends beyond the deadline listed on the RateMyPlacement website. We encourage early applications to ensure your place on the programme.
