Insurance Officer

The University of Manchester is the largest single site University in the UK with approximately 45,000 students studying across a wide, interesting and complex area of research and learning.

We are seeking to recruit an Insurance Officer to join the Risk and Resilience team in the Directorate of Compliance and Risk. The postholder will work closely with the Head of Resilience across three main areas of insurance, risk and travel as well as supporting the response to emergency incidents as and when required.

The postholder will work closely with colleagues across the University and provide support and advice in relation to insurance claims and the administration of claims as well as having a lead role in the collection, analysis and presentation of data to support the insurance renewal process. The successful candidate will also provide advice, guidance and support for business travel, including advice on risk and risk mitigation for travel.
