Interface Designer

Description

We currently have a vacancy for an Interface Designer fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company's premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client's IT team on site.

Tasks:

• Proven expertise in designing and working with Design Systems, demonstrating a deep understanding of creating, maintaining, and scaling cohesive and efficient design frameworks;
• Design work on digital solutions, ensuring UX/UI consistency and enhancing user interactions;
• Execute end-to-end product design, from wireframing and prototyping to final UI design, ensuring designs align with business needs and technical feasibility;
• Guide feature development from concept to execution, ensuring user feedback and usability testing inform the final product;
• Oversee the launch of digital products, coordinating efforts between solution teams;
• Engage stakeholders to ensure digital solutions meet both user requirements and business Objectives;
• Drive the development of user-centered digital solutions by conducting user research, persona development, and user journey mapping;
• Apply iterative design processes, including A/B testing and usability testing, to continually refine and optimize digital interfaces;
• Use UX research tools to gather insights on user interactions and behaviors, translating findings into actionable design improvements;
• Coordinate with stakeholders across departments to ensure seamless integration of UX design into broader business objectives.

Requirements

• University degree, combined with a minimum of 14 years of relevant working experience in IT;
• Experience with creating high-fidelity prototypes and wireframes using industry-standard tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch);
• Experience with delivering assets, design specifications, and prototypes to development teams using tools like Zeplin, Figma, and InVision;
• Experience with designing interfaces that comply with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG), ensuring inclusive design for users with disabilities;
• Experience with Project management methodology (Agile, Waterfall);
• Experience with Prototyping & wireframing tools: Figma, UXpin Axure);
• Experience with UI design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe) and analytics Tools (Hotjar,Google Analytics, Dynatrace);
• Experience with UserZoom (for UCD, remote user research, and usability testing, Xtensio (for persona development Smaply (for user journey mapping), JIRA (for project management);
• Experience with Documentation and knowledge sharing (Confluence), SharePoint online, (7) HTML/CSS, XML, SEO;
• Experience with platform-specific design guidelines (e.g., iOS, Android, Web) and ability to adapt designs accordingly;
• Certification of User centred design, Usability and accessibility standards, Participatory design (design sprints, visual conversation), Agile, Research techniques would be consider as an asset;
• Excellent command of the English language.
