Interim Senior Counsel

A fantastic interim opportunity has arisen with a growing fintech in Manchester. The role will cover a period of 12 months and we're interested in a senior commercial lawyer who can start a new role in May.

Working closely with the Head of Legal, the role will entail:

1. Drafting and reviewing complex SaaS product contracts with the company's global financial institution clients.
2. Leading client contract and key supplier negotiations, ensuring commercially sound and legally robust agreements.
3. Advising the business on existing client contracts, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
4. Collaborating with internal teams (e.g., product, sales, and commercial) to provide legal guidance and support business objectives.
5. Managing external legal counsel to ensure high-quality, cost-effective legal advice.
6. Staying up to date with legal and regulatory developments relevant to the company and advising on best practices.

This role is ideal for an experienced lawyer with a background in Commercial, Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT), or IT law, who is able to work independently, has strong attention to detail, excellent drafting and negotiation skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
