Interior Design Director for Global Practice

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Director of Interiors to join the London studio of a global architectural practice. This creative studio boasts an established portfolio of imaginative design projects delivered globally, with expertise across multiple disciplines, including workspace design, hospitality, sports & entertainment, and healthcare. In this role, you will be responsible for spearheading the Interiors department, leading the team, and providing the vision needed to secure new project work.

Candidates will need the following skills and experience:

1. Proven track record in marketing and business development to create opportunities and engage clients.
2. Experience in winning and securing new project work within the Interiors sector.
3. Strategic visioning for both the Interiors department and the overall firm.
4. Leadership abilities, focusing on employee well-being, mentorship, and team development.
5. Skills in fee proposal development, contract management, and negotiation.
6. Strong knowledge of project plans, schedules, budgets, and resourcing with a focus on profitability.
7. An astute eye for design quality and integration of sustainable solutions.
8. Advanced understanding of design trends, FF&E, finishes, and materials application.
9. Established connections with manufacturers and design industry specialists.
