As an IoT/Automation Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the implementation and follow-up of projects on industrial software/hardware applications supporting our pharmaceutical processes. The systems are part of a plantwide automation concept and integrate with equipment (PLC), measuring devices, sensors, MES, reporting and monitoring systems. Together with your team, you will work on exciting projects and contribute to supporting the industrial software and solving problems.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Collaborating with diverse teams to develop and implement innovative solutions. Build expertise in our industrial IoT edge systems in the environmental monitoring domain.
• Actively contributing to the success of projects by taking ownership to manage various projects.
• Building strong, Communication and collaboration across teams.
• Analyzing complex challenges and technical realization (integration, configuration, deployment).
• Proposing alternatives to provide support and implementing improvements.
• You maintain excellent working relationships with users and stakeholders in production, maintenance, engineering and QA.

Your Profile

At Capgemini Engineering, we're looking for someone who:

• Has a strong affinity with software and computer systems.
• Brings at least 2 years of experience in software development (.NET, Python, Angular)
• Knowledge of databases (SQL) and network technology.
• Knowledge message queuing (ActiveMQ, MQTT, ), REST api, node-red
• Knowledge of DevOps, Docker, Gitlab.
• Language Skills: Fluent in English and Dutch.
• Is experienced with automation technologies/tools, such as PLC, OPC, I/O.
• Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Sciences, automation or equivalent.
