IT Asset Manager

IT Asset Manager | Permanent | Up to £55,000 | Remote | Portsmouth & London

This IT Asset Manager role presents an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly growing Portsmouth & London based IT Consultancy. The role focuses on maximizing IT investment value while ensuring compliance and cost efficiency across the organisation. Working closely with procurement teams and reporting to IT leadership, you'll play a vital role in managing the complete life cycle of IT assets and implementing strategic improvements.

Experience/Skills Required:

• Understanding of hardware and software life cycle management with proven experience in IT asset management
• Strong proficiency with ServiceNow CMDB and automation tools for asset discovery and management
• Expert knowledge of software licensing, compliance requirements, and cost optimization strategies
• Experience in developing and implementing IT asset management policies and processes
• Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision making and reporting
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities
• ITIL knowledge and relevant certifications (CITAM, IAITAM) preferred
• Experience in building automation workflows and maintaining accurate asset inventories
• Proven track record in cost optimization and risk mitigation

Role Details:

• Permanent
• Up to £55,000 + generous benefits package
• Remote/Flexible (~ 2 days on-site per month in Portsmouth & 1 day on-site every other month in London)
• Portsmouth and London
