IT Category & Sourcing Manager

Up to £65,000

Hybrid - 1x per week in London/Portsmouth/Glasgow

We are representing a large company operating across Scotland and the south of England, that concentrates on the maintenance and upgrade of critical infrastructure to ensure reliable energy supply. They are looking for an IT Category & Sourcing Manager to join their successful, dynamic team.

As the IT Category & Sourcing Manager, this role will be integral to manage current and new suppliers, and to work across the end-to-end sourcing process. You will work closely with stakeholders to identify new business opportunities, advise on best practise and mitigate the risks of procurement.

We are looking for:

• Broad understanding of IT markets, and various aspects of IT products, solutions & services
• Proven experience working through the end-to-end procurement sourcing process in a Category/Procurement Management position
• Strong stakeholder management

It would be a bonus if you had:

• CIPS qualification
• An understanding of the effects of cyber security within a business
