Desktop Engineer - Hybrid/Remote - London

An experienced Desktop Engineer/2nd Line Engineer/IT Engineer is sought for a permanent role based on a hybrid/flexible working model. The client operates within the financial services industry and grow via acquisitions. An experienced Desktop Engineer is sought on a permanent bases as the companies expanding user base grows.

As the 2nd Line Engineer/Helpdesk Engineer you will be:

• Dealing with customer requests via phone and email and then managing them against an SLA
• Ordering and configuring of new hardware
• Adding, removing, and auditing O365 accounts
• Documenting office environments and processes
• Onboarding new customers to the Service Desk
• Troubleshooting domain, identity, email, and file permission issues pertaining to on prem, cloud and hybrid Servers

What you'll learn:- O365 Ecosystem;

• Azure/Intune/Autopilot/PowerShell/Office Apps and licensing
• Office Network deployments/ISPS/Infrastructure
• Security/VPN/Antivirus/MFA/1Password

To be considered for the role you must have:

• At least three years commercial experience working on a Service Desk or in a support capacity to a Microsoft based environment
• O365/Windows 7/Windows 10
• Exchange/email support
• Hardware support - Desktops/Laptops/Printers/Mobiles
• Ideally ITIL certified or relevant commercial experience
