IT Operations & Service Management Expert

The International Mobility Recruitment Department is dedicated to enhancing the mobility of IT professionals throughout Europe, facilitating the placement of talents in the various markets where it operates.

Position: IT Operations & Service Management Expert

Location: Brussels (on-site 2-3 days/week) with occasional travel to Berlin

Part-time - 30h/week; Hybrid Work Arrangement

Type of Contract: Freelance Contract or Permanent Contract preferably

Mandatory Languages: English - C1/C2 level

Bonus Languages: French and/or Dutch (minimum B1 level preferred)

Eligibility: Candidates must possess European nationality or a valid work permit for Belgium

Requirements

Technical Skills:

• Strong expertise in IT Service Management frameworks (e.g., ITIL)
• Hands-on experience with IT infrastructure operations including:

Monitoring

Access Management

Incident & Problem Management

Change & Service Continuity Management

Availability Management

• Demonstrated ability to analyse and define operational processes for IT services
• Experience in Organizational Development, particularly in turnaround contexts

Non-Technical Skills:

• Proven ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
• Customer-focused mindset with strong interpersonal communication
• Analytical and proactive in identifying and solving complex problems
• Eagerness to learn and implement innovative, forward-thinking solutions
• Confidence to challenge existing processes and propose enhancements
• Skilled at navigating diverse stakeholder environments and aligning interests
