Job Description: As an IT Systems Laboratory Support Engineer, you will be instrumental in maintaining the efficiency and functionality of our laboratory equipment and systems. Your technical expertise and problem-solving skills will ensure that our researchers can focus on their groundbreaking work without interruption.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to laboratory staff, addressing any equipment-related issues promptly and effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage laboratory supplies and equipment inventory, ensuring timely procurement and availability.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all laboratory operations comply with safety regulations and protocols, conducting regular safety audits and training sessions.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and calibration activities.
  • Cloud Environment Management: Manage and support cloud environments (AWS/Azure), including configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Identity Access Management: Implement and manage OKTA IAM systems to ensure secure access management.

Qualifications:

  • Fluency in Dutch.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a system engineer in a pharma/biotech lab or GMP environment.
  • Experience in cloud environments (AWS/Azure) with relevant certifications.
  • Hands-on experience with configuration, ticket resolution, and project management.
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of laboratory safety standards and protocols.
  • Experience with OKTA IAM Identity Access Management.
