X German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence GmbH Darmstadt The German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence GmbH (DFKI) was founded in 1988 as a non-profit public-private partnership (PPP). DFKI has been researching AI for humans for over 35 years and is oriented towards social relevance and scientific excellence in the key future-oriented research and application areas of artificial intelligence. DFKI is one of the most important "Centers of Excellence" in the international scientific community. To strengthen our team at the Darmstadt site, we are looking for a:n motivated:n IT Administrator / First and Second Level Support (m/f/d/x) part-time (50%), preferably with a Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) or completed training as an IT specialist for system integration. At DFKI's Darmstadt site, we conduct research in one of the most exciting research areas of our time. But this is only possible if the technology plays along. You will create the technical foundations for this, work closely with our researchers and support them in the operational aspects of research. You will be the contact person for employees on all IT system administration issues, set up structures and processes at the newly established site and be responsible for integration into the existing DFKI structures. To this end, you will work closely with the employees of the responsible infrastructure group at the Kaiserslautern site. Relevant professional experience in a research and/or university environment is an advantage. A very good command of English and routine use of common IT administration tools are required. Structured, independent work, accuracy and the ability to work in a team should be a matter of course for you.
