Kaiserslautern University of Applied Sciences is a research-intensive university of applied sciences in the fields of computer science, engineering, business, design and health. We educate around 6,300 students in over 70 degree programs and continuing education courses at three study locations in Kaiserslautern, Pirmasens and Zweibrücken. There are currently four main areas of research. W2 professorship "Computer Science with a focus on multimedia knowledge transfer and empirical methods" IMST 2025/10 Your profile We are looking for a person with a university degree in computer science or comparable, as well as special aptitude for scientific work, which is usually demonstrated by a qualified doctorate. The candidate should represent the areas of multimedia knowledge transfer (remote / presence / eLearning / blended learning) and empirical methods of computer science in teaching and applied research. Multimedia knowledge transfer, especially in face-to-face, remote, eLearning and blended learning teaching/learning scenarios. Very good didactic skills are a matter of course, as is the willingness to participate in exchanges with our international partner universities and to offer courses in English.
