We are looking for a deeply engaged Senior UX Consultant to join us at Ideagen. In this position, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our SaaS products, leading design initiatives, discovering new opportunities, and crafting intuitive and effortless solutions that improve every stage of a user's journey.

Responsibilities

• Be the focal point on UX projects, working closely with Product Managers, other designers, and developers to bring ideas to life.
• Develop a keen understanding of our users' needs by collaborating with the user research team on both micro and macro scales.
• Work with the user research team to create personas through user research and data. Develop wireframes, prototype, and validate designs, iterating on them and testing with real users.
• Utilise existing and contribute new, scalable, elegant design patterns to realise your solutions. Work in conjunction with Product Managers to set and track metrics, measure success, and learn from failures.
• Mentor and inspire a design team, owning their workflow.
• Draw on your skills and experience to offer valued input to help the wider Product team at Ideagen decide what to work on next.

Skills and Experience

• A portfolio that demonstrates your end-to-end UCD process with examples of problem solving where you make the complex seem simple.
• The ability to conduct and make use of research, insights, analytics, and data gathering in your design process.
• Experience in designing B2B applications across different platforms, including user testing your prototypes.
• Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture.
• Proficient in design software (e.g., Figma, Miro, Balsamiq, etc.).
• Familiarity with agile development processes and management tools (such as Asana/Jira) is a plus.
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript is a strong plus. SaaS UX experience and an expert consumer of SaaS solutions.
