Where you'll be based
This position is based in our Head Office in Sandyford, Dublin. (Hybrid working in the office 60% and WFH 40%).
How you could help us to Enchant the World with Chocolate
We are looking for a passionate Junior Account Manager to support the Head of Grocery delivering sales and profit objectives in the Grocery Channel in-line with company aspirations through the agreement and activation of joint plans with key buyers. The role requires ensuring customer needs, company sales objectives and profitability goals are achieved through building customer account plans that enable a framework of growth over the next 3-5 years.
Develop Key Accounts
- Understand key customers and application of Lindt business development opportunities.
- Develop credible and strong relationships across customer base and with key internal influencers to agree and execute Joint Business Plans in line with agreed account sales plans.
- Drive effective Lindt customer relationships through professionalism in account management at the appropriate levels.
- Understand customer timelines and requirements and proactively and constructively work these back within the Lindt organisation.
- Short to mid-term focus on account development.
- Plan and manage resources (Field Sales Team & Sales Support) to achieve account sales budget.
- Build and deliver robust Account Plans for aligned retailers.
- Profit and Loss responsibility for account agreed targets.
- Implement AYR, seasonal plans and NPD - through correct distribution, merchandising and logistical phasing.
- T&C spend within budget.
- Support the Head of Grocery to work effectively with Demand Planning to ensure monthly forecasts are delivered.
- Deliver 'best practice' and guidance to the business through execution of 'best in class' activities - cross functionally.
- Regular updates to marketing of the account's key opportunities and issues going forward.
- Deliver pace to the accounts development and meet agreed account requirements within agreed deadlines.
- Lead cross functional ways of working ultimately ensuring alignment to and focus on business game plan.
What experience you'll bring
- Have proven sales experience within a FMCG organisation.
- P&L experience.
- Safe handling of MS applications (e.g. PowerPoint, Excel).
- Have a record of consistent success in the management and execution of Joint Business Plans.
- Show capability to implement AYR and seasonal plans, both commercially and logistically.
- Have strong communication and networking skills.
- Be performance driven, tenacious and goal orientated.
- Be able to work cross functionally both internally and externally.
