Junior Financial Accountant Finance London

The impact you'll have:
Reporting to the Financial Accountant, the Junior Financial Accountant will support and execute operational reporting to Trade Receivables and Payables, Bank Reconciliations, Expenses and other ad-hoc reporting. The ideal candidate will be automation/efficiency focused.
Your day-to-day:
- Responsible for reconciliation of Trade Receivables and Trade Payables between
operational systems to accounting systems - Responsible for creating ageing and generating commercial insights from Trade
Receivables and Trade Payables balances - Responsible for completing Bank Reconciliations on time and flagging any issues
early - Responsible for processing expenses/ invoices in line with agreed payment
terms - Supporting ad-hoc Finance Automation Projects (Including revamp of current
Overheads payment process) - Supporting ad-hoc Financial Reporting
- Liaising with suppliers to resolve payment queries / validate details
- Liaising with auditors as and when required
Your skillset:
- Experience in Balance Sheet Reconciliations with a focus on Trade Receivables
and Trade Payables - Experience of working on month-end financial close tasks with a focus on
delivering within timeline - Experience in invoice/expenses coding
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
- Experience of Finance Automation and/ or Finance efficiency improvements
- Understanding of internal controls environment
- Self starter and proactive
- Positive attitude to challenges
Not necessary but would be desirable to have:
- SUN Q&A experience
- G Suite experience
- End to end implementation of Finance Automation
- Webexpenses or other out of pocket expenses software experience
- Commitment to continuous improvement
